
On September 15, 2004 the musical ensemble recorded their first album, Celtic Women, for PBS television at The Helix, Dublin, Ireland. After taping their first album, it reached #1 on Billboard’s World Music chart. Celtic Women, the album, broke Andera Bocelli’s long-standing record of chart-topping longevity on July 22 2006 by staying #1 for 81 weeks.
Their second album, Celtic Woman: A Christmas Celebration was released on October 19, 2006. This album knocked their first album to number 2 on the World music Chart. After releasing their third album on January 30, 2007 it instantly hit the Billboard 200 at number 4 and the Billboard World Music chart at #1. As a result, their third album bumped their previous two down a notch.
