The long-awaited anime adaptation of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s Chainsaw Man is finally happening, and we have some interesting new details on it. After a terrific reveal trailer in 2021, the MAPPA studio went awfully quiet on the anticipated anime, causing many fans to worry.
Fast forward to 2022, and we now have a brand new trailer and release date. With that said, here’s everything you need to know about Chainsaw Main Anime, including its release date, plot, episode list, and more.

The anime adaptation of Chainsaw Man will release in October 2022, and you can stream it on Crunchyroll. Chainsaw Man is a dark and disturbing action horror series centered around a group of devil hunters.

The main protagonist is a ragtag teenager called Denji, who works as a devil hunter to pay off his father’s debt to Yakuzas. One thing leads to another, and Denji starts working as a devil hunter for the government.
The anime adaptation of Chainsaw Main will cover the first arc of the manga that concluded in 2020. “With dark humor, dynamic characters, and a sharp story, Chainsaw Man is one of the most anticipated new series this year, and we are wickedly excited to bring it to fans on the Crunchyroll service,” says Asa Suehira, the chief content officer at Crunchyroll.

As of this writing, the exact number of episodes for Chainsaw Man anime has not been confirmed. However, given how massive Arc 1 of the manga is, it should be more than just 12-13 episodes.
