Among the wide variety of Hogwarts Legacy gameplay, Room of Requirement and its Vivarium give the player the most freedom of action. Once you unlock this location, you can create, remove, or modify furniture, brew potions, grow materials, and more. The base of the magical park is vast and can hold up to 12 animals, but it’s still not unlimited. How to Increase Vivarium Species Limit in Hogwarts Legacy
As we said, the basic Vivarium can accommodate up to 12 creatures of 4 different species. It is quite a lot, and this is enough to start your path as a breeder. But unfortunately, the world of magicians is full of poachers, and to save as many creatures as possible, you will have to increase the Vivarium species limit in Hogwarts Legacy by unlocking three more Vivariums. Each new Vivarium is a unique biome and can accommodate up to 12 creatures of 3 types. But to get them, you must reach a definite story stage and complete some quests.
- Beach Vivarium. After you complete the Astronomy Class and The High Keep quests, you will receive the Plight of the House-Elf quest. Completing it will unlock the Beach Vivarium.
- Meadow Vivarium. To unlock the Meadow Vivarium, you must complete the Phoenix Rising quest. But first, you must complete Niamh Fitzgerald’s Trial quest and find Deek to talk to him.
- Swamp Vivarium. To unlock this Vivarium, you must complete the Foal of the Dead quest.

Once you have obtained all magical enclosures in the pocket dimension, you can keep up to 48 animals of all 13 different types. But also remember that animals need to be fed and cared for. You will have to build new landscapes and buildings to make the stay of magical creatures in your Vivarium comfortable.
