What Is Midsomer Murders About?
Based on the crime-novel series by author Caroline Graham, `Midsomer Murders’ follows the efforts of Detective Chief Inspector John Barnaby to solve crimes that occur in the wealthy, isolated English county of Midsomer, a picturesque and peaceful place on the outside but one filled with amoral and snobbish eccentrics with all kinds of vices.
A veteran Detective Chief Inspector and his young Sergeant investigate murders around the regional community of Midsomer County.
The long-running, much-loved and highly-anticipated mystery series, returns for brand new episodes of Season 22 in an Acorn TV Exclusive. Detective Chief Barnaby (Neil Dudgeon) and Detective Sergeant Winter (Nick Hendrix) investigate homicides, blackmail, greed, and betrayal in England’s most murderous county. Guest stars include Caroline Quentin and Rachael Stirling.
