Richard is an award-winning journalist who has worked for websites, newspapers and magazines in Australia and Britain, covering news and sport.
In 2000, he was part of the Sydney Morning Herald online team that earned a Walkley Award for coverage of the Sydney Olympic Games.
He was also part of the Manly Daily team in 2008 that was highly commended in the PANPA daily newspaper of the year category.
From 2006 to 2007, Richard was a journalist with the Hull Daily Mail in northern England that was named Yorkshire Daily Newspaper of the Year.
